The tagging you used didn't allow the text to wrap, thus making my friends page THAT wide and very hard to read.... could you please fix?

Sorry...I forgot about <pre>'s more annoying qualities. Fixed now.

"matched your profile" means "your resume came up when I googled for "resume".

OTOH, how's your PHP?

"matched your profile" means "your resume came up when I googled for "resume".

Which is fine with me. I keep my résumé accessible precisely so recruiters can find it.

My PHP and ColdFusion skills are quite good, and I'm starting to play with Ruby on Rails as well. Know anyone who needs a developer?

And actually, the job description was not a bad match. The problem was the poorly written introductory text.

It's also a job that's a good match. Are you really going to let that prevent you from 'earning a steady buck'?

Huh? I didn't say I was letting it prevent me.

This is the quality of crap I got from DICE. For the most part I treated it as SPAM. Which it could very well be.

Good luck in the search, man... And don't be afraid to fail someone for "Bad contact letter"... Ask yourself if you'd be happy working for them anyway.

She's a recruiter, so I don't have to worry about working for her. I just have to keep her happy long enough to get an interview if I'm interested in the job (which I may not be in this case).
