How not to do public Wi-Fi

I was in Mount Kisco today, and considering going to the library to take advantage of the Wi-Fi there. A quick look at the library's description of their Wi-Fi service dissuaded me from doing that:

  • Only 5 simultaneous users are supported, "so patrons may be asked to limit their time online when others are waiting."
  • Outlets are not available "due to tripping hazards for other patrons"!
No thanks. Hey, Mount Kisco: I appreciate that you're supplying a Wi-Fi hotspot at the library, but do it right, OK?
