Are you sure this was Algomod? It doesn't sound like the messages I've received from them -- and I've received many. They follow a standard format, and never seem to put anything but the job title in the subject. And I've never seen Algomod refer to a nonexistent conversation; their e-mail messages always say things like "our records indicate that you are an experienced IT professional with experience in...".
