Small plane ride!

I'm just back from a ride in an acquaintance's 4-seater plane, from Oakland, CA, to Half Moon Bay for dinner and back again. I got to sit in the copilot's seat. What fun! I'd never been in a small plane before. I'll try to post pix sometime soon.

The fellow who owns the plane (David Newitt) is an English/Scottish country dance musician and caller. I told him that of the dance musicians I know, he generates far and away the most lift -- he almost makes me feel like I've left the ground totally!
