More on the gas chambers

My link to Lyle Burkhart's article on the Nazi gas chambers generated even more discussion than I had expected -- and several people helped hole-poke his argument into tatters. I think I can safely say that that particular page is rubbish. It's too bad; he's got a lot of interesting things to say on other topics.

Thanks in particular to bunnyjadwiga, curlyeric, dwarven_brewer, and jcbigler for especially relevant counterarguments and references. And thanks to Lyle Burkhart himself for reminding me how easy it is to look like you know what you're talking about even if you don't.
